Check out these brand new Halo Minimates! This August, two boxed sets, each containing three members of Noble Team and a Warthog, will be released via Toys R Us. Each set retails for $19.99, which is not much to stage epic space warfare in your bathtub (you know you do).

Minimates are awesome. What makes them more awesome is when they can help you win more Minimates! All you have to do to increase your collection is take a badass picture using your little guys and post it on the wall of http://www.facebook.com/diamondselecttoys before August 4th. (Hint: Don't steal this picture and post it, cause that's the one they are using as an example and you might get called dumb.) The best pic will win at least two packaged Minimates from all of the current lines, which include Marvel, Halo, and a bunch more. Two runners up will also score some swag, so break out your toy collection and pretend they're on Top Model.

Designer toy creators have been doing this for awhile, but this is the first I've been aware of a major toy company doing subscription packages for big name licensed goods. Mattel is now offering fans a chance to score every figure from their favorite series while also getting a bonus toy that is exclusive to subscribers. You can chose from Masters of the Universe, Ghost Busters, Voltron, or DC Universe and every month you will get a brand new figure in the mail for a pretty reasonable price. It's no panty of the month club, but your mailman will think you're less of a weirdo.

It sucks when there is a major toy event and you're stuck home reading about it on the internet. What makes it suck less is when you're still able to get your hands on something amazing that you really wanted. Kozik has made his King of Rock SDCC exclusives available on his website for those of us that thought we'd have to sell a kidney to get one. Go right now to http://www.frankkozik.net and order yours before someone else does and wants an internal organ in exchange.

If you're like me (lucky you, lol) and you weren't able to make the trek to this year's San Diego Comic Con, then you probably feel you missed out on all the cool exclusive stuff. Fear not, for ToyQube has just made their SDCC leftovers available to those of us who felt left out. First off is the iconic design of Bat Baby Sharkey. These were limited to only 150 pieces (how did they not sell out?) and feature Keithing's little shark dude dressed as everyone's favorite vigilante.
Also from Keithing, is a brand new design called Deep-Sea Dracula. This is the True Blood edition, for obvious reasons. This piece is limited to only 50 pieces (seriously, did anyone go to comic con?) and is cast from resin, which is a bit harder than normal vinyl. Both toys are available now in the ToyQube online store.

The medical curiosity bug has certainly bitten Toy2r. Presenting their Brain Pattern Qee designed by Emilio Garcia of Jumping Brain fame. Like its anatomical brother mentioned below, this dude glows in the dark, adding that extra something that will most likely drive your cats insane all night. I'm thinking Toy2r should do an entire cabinet of curiosities series so I can really put my antique display case to good use.

Ever wondered what the inner workings of your favorite toy looked like? When we were younger that might have involved cracking one open and then being pissed that is was beyond repair. Now you can gaze in the wonderment that are plastic guts without the regret. Toy2r has released the new visible Qee, complete with all the guts you could ever want. And the innards all glow in the dark. This is an Artoyz exclusive, and being that they're based in France it's not going to be cheap for those of us in America. But at only 200 pieces made, it might be worth the steep conversion rate.

I'm a sucker for Star Wars and this might put a big dent in my bank account. Medicom is celebrating their 15th year by releasing this 400% Stormtrooper Bearbrick. The toy also comes with a t-shirt made by Stussy that says "I have a bad feeling about this," which as all of us uber nerds know is a classic line from the first film. No word on price yet, but nothing that I ever want is cheap.

Behold the beauty of what can happen when two giant nerd enterprises come together to create magic. Microsoft just unveiled its collaboration with Star Wars for this limited edition Xbox 360. The system will be released in time for the holidays and will also include the motion activated Kinect add on and a copy of Kinect Star Wars all for $449.99. And we all thought Star Wars Kid's training was a waste of time.

Kozik first unleashed this little guy at San Diego Comic Con this week and they quickly sold out. But now Maqet is giving you a chance to own one of these on their website. For those of you that don't know, Maqet is a company that utilizes 3D printing machines to create toys, and they're made right here in the United States. The technology and finished product will blow your mind. If you want one of these for your Kozik collection you better get on it.

Every year Hasbro creates another My Little Pony for San Diego Comic Con that drives my wife insane until I get her one. The above picture is this year's design, which is a little more edgy than the super hero themes of past cons. This one is looking pretty intense and even has skulls on it! If you want one, don't be suckered by people selling them on Ebay for the price of a German sports car. Hasbro always has plenty left over and available in their online store the week after. Trust me, I've become an expert in pony wrangling.

Not long after we reported about the new Bossk flash drive, Mimobot announced theirbrand spankin' new series of Star Wars designs. What really stands out about this series is the nifty Han Solo in carbonite carrying case. And of course who could leave out the Colt 45 chugging, intergalactic pimp himself, Lando! Check out the Mimobot website for more info on your new favorite way to store all that sketchy stuff you look at on the internet.

For one reason or another, the characters with the least amount of screen time have become some of the most popular in the Star Wars universe (Boba Fett anyone?), and the bounty hunters are definitely at the top of that list. The latest designer flash drive from Mimobot is none other that everyone's favorite reptilian gun-for-hire, Bossk. And being that all of the big toy news is centered around San Diego Comic Con, why should this be any different you say? Mimobot is allowing people who can't attend the con to put their name on a waiting list by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org for your chance to purchase this piece.

And if you're more fashion minded, they'll also have this exclusive Captain America tee available:
All of this will be available at booth #4731.

If you're like me, then you have a soft spot for cuteness of Joe Ledbetter's work. It's adorable and you know it! Now, making their North American debut, Joe Ledbetter x Devilrobots will be unleashing their bunny tofu to fans at San Diego Comic Con. I just want to hug them all, but I know I can't hug ALL the tofu bunnies.

Doktor A never fails to create insane toys, and Humphry Mooncalf is no exception. The "Dapper" edition of this figure will be on display during San Diego Comic Con at the DKE Toys at booth # 4728. No word on when this will be available for purchase or what the price will be as of yet.

Yet another thing that I desperately need from San Diego Comic Con. Marvel and Gentle Giant have teamed up to unleash the Deadpool Squirrel statue on the world. This little rodent assassin is $30 and is limited to 500 pieces, so get to Gentle Giants booth #3513 before the millions of other people willing to kill for one.

So yeah, I want this thing pretty badly. Kozik will drop his newest 10" Smorkin' Labbit at, where else, San Diego Comic Con. The King of Rock Labbit will be available exclusively at his booth # 4734 for $100. For those of you who need this as badly as I do and won't be making the trek to the West Coast, follow Frank on Twitter @frank_kozik for details on how to get your hands on this awesome hunk of plastic.

Tonner kicked off their brand new series of Marvel figures last May when they released the Scarlet Witch and Captain America dolls. Both of them quickly sold out, but they did save some of the Captain for this year's San Diego Comic Con. Clad in his Golden Age attire, each figure is hand painted and will be extremely limited. If you're interested and are attending the convention, you may want to make booth # 4149 your first stop.

Toy2R continues their onslaught of releases this year with 5 brand new toys for San Diego Comic Con attendees. All are utilizing the new 5" Qee platform and show a pretty good range of how awesome that figure can be customized. You'll be able to get a sneak peek at the newest works from John Paul Kaiser, and can actually take home new Qees from Voltaire, Scott Tolleson, and Smash Tokyo Toys. Don't worry if, like me, you won't be able to make it to San Diego this year as all of the designs will be available afterwards.

If you're planning on making the trek to San Diego Comic Con this year and want to score some of the exclusive toys, head over to www.mattycollector.com right now and preorder some of the things Mattel will have on hand. These are just a few of what's available so get to it before they're gone.

Fresh from his two Zombie Biker figures in the Dunny 2011 series, Mad returns with an 8 inch version that is just as hell bent on breaking the law. He comes complete with all the essentials you need for a successful jewel heist, even down to the goods hidden under his hat.
He can be yours for $75 on July 21 everywhere they sell Kidrobot stuff.

What a fitting first post! On July 21st Kidrobot will release this viking themed take on their iconic mascot. Designed by The Beast Brothers, this guy is a take on the popular internet video "Techno Viking." There is also a cool 1 in 6 chase version in a different color scheme. You have a few weeks to save your kronor cause this one will set you back $50.
