NYCC Exclusive Pop! Vinyl from Funko x Fugitive Toys

I have a bit of a problem in the fact that even when I narrow my collecting scope, I still want everything that's ever made that I can get my hands on that falls within my restrictions.  In the world of Pop! Vinyl I like a lot of them, but my main focus is Batman.  Seems reasonable right?  Until you learn that there are like 1,000 different iterations of Batman.  And who has to have every single one of them? This guy.  Thus far I have 11 of them, which isn't bad being that some of them are pretty hard to find exclusives.  But it is kinda fun tracking them all down, and I almost enjoy that part of it more than even owning the figures.

I have a lot of other Pop! Vinyls from Funko, including a few from the Thor movies, which makes these two versions of Frost Giant Loki pretty tempting.  Both of them as well as the Wonder Woman figures are Fugitive Toys exclusives for this weekend's New York Comic Con.  If you want any of them I would make a bee line to booth # 410 cause there's always a lot of interest in any Funko exclusives.

Kidrobot Announces SDCC Exclusives

Kidrobot is doing things a little differently at this year's San Diego Comic Con.  They have forgone having their own booth in favor of spreading their exclusives around the show floor to different partners.  While you may think it's a negative that you can't just get all this stuff in one spot, I think you should look at it differently.  Look at it as an opportunity to explore booths you may not have ever visited before and to learn about other cool stuff you may really enjoy.  Now it's like they're doing you a favor by sending you on this journey of self discovery/potential bankruptcy.

Check out their first ever artist designed Bot figure.  Tristan Eaton designed this and it will be available first to convention goers, but it sounds like the rest of us will get a chance at one as well later on.  The folks at Rotofugi (booth 5248), Bait (booth 4949), and Fugitive (booth 601) will all have these available.

Who doesn't love a sassy space critter with an abundance of fire power?  No, I'm not talking about your mom, I'm talking about Rocket Raccoon!!!!!!  He's getting the Labbit treatment from Frank Kozik (booth 5051) and you will not only be able to buy it first and get it signed, but you'll be the first to even SEE what it looks like.  I actually know how the figure looks:  snazzy on my entertainment center!  See what I did there?  I'm a mess.

And here's an example of what I was talking about earlier.  How many people would have normally made a stop at the Nickelodeon booth?  Be honest.  Well now you have the perfect reason to go and check it out to score these exclusive Beebop and Rocksteady figures.  Booth 4113 is the only place you'll be able to get them and who knows what else they'll have that you can't live without.

Breaking Bad Challenge Coins from Mezco

Breaking Bad is the best show ever in the history of tv so just stop watching tv if you've already seen it because nothing will compare to it and you'll be sad and constantly wonder what Walter White would have done in every show.  You'll be watching Project Runway and Heidi Klum will send someone home, and you imagine Walt looking at her with all seriousness as he says "I'm the one who auf wiedersehens" and pulls something from his pocket and blows the place to hell.  I just made that show a thousand times better.

When they were filming Breaking Bad the producers would give out challenge coins at the end of each season to reward the cast and crew.  Mezco has taken that idea and made some that you don't actually have to mortgage your house to afford.  There are only 4 designs left (one sold out pretty quickly) and they are being sold exclusively through 3 different retailers.  The pink bear is an exclusive to Fugitive Toys,  the car wash one is sold through Big Bad Toy Store, and the Saul Goodman and chicken joint coins are available from Vegas Dead Dolls.  Get em quick or be sad forever.

NYCC Exclusive Pop! Vinyls from Funko x Fugitive Toys

You know what's great about Pop! Vinyls?  I never feel guilty about buying them.  They're like those fun size candy bars that you keep eating cause they're small and before you know it you ate the whole bag.  Every time I see one of these guys that I want I just buy it because the price is always good and you never feel like you could have used your money for something better, like your electric bill.

Fugitive Toys will have three exclusives from Funko's ever popular line of figures for this year's New York Comic Con.  There will be a metallic Batman Beyond (which I need, a New 52 Nightwing, and that same Nightwing only in a metallic version.  Buy one, buy them all!  No need to hold back, because they're more affordable than buying a hot dog in the Javitts Center.
