Garuma from Gorgoloid x Unusual Creation Club

While the traditional Japanese Daruma doll is considered to be good luck, this particular version might bring folly rather than fortune.  It's hard to tell with the creations of Gorgoloid, because they don't always look like they have our best intentions in mind.  These little guys produced by Unusual Creation Club are pretty cool though, so I'd take the risk and just order a pair anyway.  Plus, how great is the name Unusual Creation Club?  I don't know if they offer memberships or have a secret handshake, but I'm ready to join.

If you want to add one or both of these guys to your collection, here's what you have to do:

Email to UnusualCreationClub@gmail.com
with your info as followings:
1. Email Title: Garuma Classic Color version
2. Your Full Name
3. Your Shipping Address / Phone Number
4. Your Paypal Address
5. Your Order (red/green/a pair)

Grimebrute Kickstarter Campaign from Gorgoloid

If you're looking for a toy to win you The Little Miss Texas pageant this ain't your girl.  If you're looking for something to scare people that are into weird crap like putting makeup on kids and parading them around like show ponies, then may I present to you your new best friend.  This is Grimebrute, a 9 inch tall hunk of plastic nightmare from Gorgoloid.   Before you go cleaning off shelf space he's gonna need you to do a different sort of work.  See, this dude is on Kickstarter right now trying to raise the funds to be put into production.  You have to go to this link, purchase yourself some swanky rewards, and help this thing startle people around the world when they get up to pee at night.

Custom Fiji Mermaids from Candie Bolton x Gorgoloid x Awesome Toy

If Fiji Mermaids were real no one would ever go fishing again.  The thought of pulling some haggard old monkey fish onto your boat is just the sort of thing that can ruin an afternoon of fun.  Not that I've ever really thought catching fish was the most fun thing.  I'd rather stay at home and watch Netflix and not have worm guts all over my hand and smell like something from the deep sea.  Any time I've ever gone fishing I've managed to impale some part of my body with the hook, which I take as a sign from the universe that I should be doing other things.  Once it even went all the way through my thumb and the dumbest part about that was that it happened in a friend of mine's garage and nowhere near the open ocean.  I was just bouncing around on a Pogo Ball and I fell over next to some fishing rods and the next thing I knew I was wondering how the hell I was gonna explain this.  That whole Pogo Ball reference just dated me big time, didn't it?

Awesome Toy and Gorgoloid have one of the most bizarre sofubi creations ever with this dude and Candie Bolton has lent her talent to pretty them up a bit.  They're so shiny that now they look like the lures you would use if you wanted to catch one.  Get one for your collection this Sunday, July 31st at 6pm pacific time only from http://www.candiebolton.com.  Bait not included.

Tropical Fiji Mermaid Sofubi from Gorgoloid X Awesome Toy

I'd love to have heard the conversation between the dude who invented the Fiji Mermaid and his wife when he first showed it to her. "Now babes, you know I wasn't cut out to be the Wal-Mart bathroom attendant my whole life, but don't worry cause in the kitchen is how I'm gonna finally put this family on the map."  After she regained consciousness from seeing the old monkey and stinking fish butt he had crudely sewn together I'm sure there was a trip to a divorce lawyer.

People throughout the ages have come up with some interesting schemes to avoid real work, but the Fiji Mermaid might be the weirdest.  In homage to this sideshow creature of yore, Gorgoloid and Awesome Toy have combined (like the monkey and fish) to create this version in sofubi.  Available beginning Thursday April 21st at 6pm pacific time, this Tropical edition is ready to take his place in your cabinet of curiosities.  Charge your neighbors a dime to behold this freak of nature!!!  He's only available from http://www.gorgoloid.com

New Plaseebo x Gorgoloid Collaborations Dropping Tomorrow

I hope you weren't looking for a good night's sleep later, cause this is straight up nightmare fuel.  I love the work of Plaseebo, because everything he makes looks like it's ready to kill you and live off of what's left.  I've determined that is my favorite genre of toy, right up there with "so cute I could vomit glitter" and "looks like a murder weapon from True Detective."  My tastes are very specific.

Plaseebo has teamed up once again with Gorgoloid for three special Night Gamers that will be available tomorrow, Friday the 24th, over at www.plaseebo.net.  If I bought one I would probably lock it in a safe when I went to sleep, you know, just in case.

Kaiju Rhaal One-Off's from Gorgoloid Dropping Tomorrow Night

Man these dudes are frightening!!  Is this some mad science experience gone wrong?  A genetic mutation?  What all those supplements from GNC will eventually do to people?  The questions are endless, but the supply of one-off Kaiju Rhaals from Gorgoloid is anything but.  The magic number for these spectacular brutes is 6 and coincidentally enough they go on sale tomorrow (Friday, August 26th) at 6pm pacific time only at http://www.gorgoloid.com/.  Pictured are two of my favorites.

Exclusive Releases from Plaseebo at Designer Con

People that live in California have way too much to do.  This past weekend not only did you have Stan Lee's Comikaze, but you had a convention for Hello Kitty.  My wife would have lost her mind to go to Hello Kitty Con.  Between the two of them we would have ended up homeless, but with piles of cool new stuff.  And this weekend you have Designer Con, which is the equivalent of a crack convention for junkies.  It costs next to nothing to get in and it's row upon row of fiscal irresponsibleness/stuff to make your shelves look top notch.  Screw bringing your credit cards; bring a loan officer from your bank.

Plaseebo will be setting up his wares here for the first time ever at the Gorgoloid booth # 933.  Check out the picture above for the awesome stuff that will haunt your dreams for years to come.
