Mezco Archive Sale Happening Tomorrow

There's nothing better than digging through other people's stuff to find treasure.  I love going to flea markets and seeing piles of things to look through, so this is like a dream come true for me.  Mezco is cleaning out it's archives and offering up everything for sale.  This is stuff that collectors would fight to the death over.  Unpainted samples, figures that were never released; just piles and piles of utlra rare pieces.  And considering they make toys for Friday the 13th, Breaking Bad, Family Guy, The Watchmen, Hellboy, and many more that I'm forgetting, it will be easy to find something you can't live without.

The sale is open to the public (ages 13 and up) tomorrow, Friday the 16th, from noon-5pm at 2109 Borden Ave. Long Island City, NY.  This is their headquarters and how many times have you been invited to a toy company's place of business before?  Not since that restraining order I bet.

The Brightfield Bunnies from Lunabee x Cris Rose Releasing Today

Lunabee is another artist that Kidrobot needs to include in a Dunny series.  Just look at these figures that she made with Cris Rose.  They are continuing their Nemori narrative with the addition of The Brightfield Bunnies.  Each one is hand painted with custom heads on a Dunny body.  You can add one to your collection today for $80 + shipping when they drop at 18:00 London time.

Horror Classics Mystery Minis from Funko

Only Funko could turn the film world's most frightening characters into something that is almost cute.  I would like to point out that they did forget about the scariest movie I've ever seen.  I don't blame them for missing it, because there really wasn't any blood or gore, but this film has psychologically damaged me from the moment I saw it:

I'm pretty sure this movie has rendered me unable to have kids.  Who knew that teenagers were so horrific?  I would spend many nights at Camp Crystal Lake with Jason trying to murder me before I would be inclined to try and raise teenage girls.   They're scary.

Back to the task at hand.   You know you want them all.  They will be released August 15th in blind box form wherever you prefer to buy your toys.

New Releases Tomorrow from The Mark Ultra

You know what would make your week better?  New toys.  It always works for me.  If I feel like crap I go out and get myself something nice, then later I usually feel like crap for spending money.  But for that brief window I felt pretty darn good with my new toy.  The Mark Ultra has many options to make you feel better about the bad week you may be having.  For a mere $15 you can get this set of 3 U.L.T.R.A. figures.  That's a pretty good value for all the wrasslin action you'll be able to have with them.

How about an emerald green Intruder figure for $18?  You can tell he had a rough go of things because his left arm is all cyborged out.

I can hear my mother yelling at me now "put some clothes on, you weirdo".  She never understood me.  But that doesn't mean you can't look snazzy in a brand new hat or brand new shirt.  Each is just $20 and nothing feels quite as good as a new shirt.

Bad Ass: Stealth Edition from Kronk x Pobber Toys Available Now

Monkeys, no matter how big they are, always look like they want to be your friend.  Then you hear about them ripping people's arms off and beating them to death with their own limbs.  But I like to live life dangerously, so when Crystal the monkey (of such films as The Hangover and other shows that involve monkeys) came to Wildwood for photo opportunities I was all about it.  This is the resulting picture:

Look how happy my wife and I were to have a monkey on our heads!  We stared Death in the face and have the picture to prove it!  After we took this the monkey did kill like 10 people or so, but she knew we weren't going to have it.  By the way, I have gotten even more handsome since then.

Ok, now that you know what a bad ass I am, you know that I am fit to judge other bad ass things.  Like this mecha ape that is actually called Bad Ass.  Kronk and Pobber Toys have just released this stealth edition of this angry monkey bro.  He's pretty big and mean looking.  And if you scroll just a little further you'll see the chase version of this guy:

You have a 1 in 6 shot of getting one of these when you order the Stealth Edition.  Get em now wherever you prefer to buy your fancy toys.

New 8 Inch Transformers from The Loyal Subjects

When I saw that The Loyal Subjects were doing a mini series of Transformers I was hoping they would make some bigger versions.  They had a few at San Diego Comic Con and now everyone will have there chance to snag one when these two are released next month.  First off, you have the classic Optimus Prime.  You can't go wrong with the original thing.  But what if you always wondered what old Optimus would look like painted up like a My Little Pony?  Well, that's kinda sick, so you should see someone, but if they deem you sane then your next step is to get the DIY figure.

Paint him up however you like, cover him in glitter, or rat skulls, or leave him blank.  The painted version of Optimus will be $55 while the DIY will be $40.  Both will be available at your favorite places to buy toys.
