Pimp2-D2's Pimp Speeder from Manly Art

As someone wiser than me once said, pimpin ain't easy.  Especially in this economy, cause that recession just won't let up.  And then all those intergalactic hoes trying to unionize like they're working in a factory.  If that were the case pimpin would indeed be easy, though I doubt that's what Henry Ford had in mind when he developed the assembly line.  I gotta hurry up and finish this cause I need to go look at some warehouse properties if you know what I'm saying.

When you the biggest pimp in the galaxy like Pimp2-D2 is, you gotta have a fly ride with a sexy chauffeur so you can keep an eye on your investments.  And by investments I mean prostitutes.  He sure isn't making any money on real estate, that's a fool's game.

This set from Manly Art comes with everything you need to be the boss of your little corner of space.  Decorate your speeder with the included sticker sheet, or keep it plain so the police have a harder time stopping you from handlin' your business.  These go on sale tomorrow, October 21st, at noon CST only at http://manlyart.bigcartel.com.  Only 15 pieces are available, do don't be some live turkey driving your ladies around in your mom's Volvo station wagon.  I still miss that car.

Seen at NYCC: Super7

You know how you make a triumphant return to New York Comic Con after a few years away?  If you're Super7 you build a massive booth, fill it with tons of exclusives, and then just wait as the huddled masses make their way up and down the aisle, unable to miss the grandeur.  There was a lot to see and a lot to buy, both of which I happily partook in.  You can check out more photos by visiting www.facebook.com/TheToyViking and you can purchase all remaining exclusives at www.super7store.com.

On Sale Now: The Lonely Warrior Tomorrow Queen from 3A

And you thought all Stormtroopers were clones.  If they all looked like this instead of Jango Fett the Empire would have never been able to focus enough to build one, let alone two Death Stars.  It would have saved them a lot of money on uniforms, though.  Probably could have afforded the extra man hours to have actually covered those exhaust vents.  If you wanna run the Galaxy, you gotta be on board with forward thinking.

You can get this feisty lady from 3A right now over at www.bambalandstore.com.  She stands a full two feet tall, comes with two interchangeable heads, and enough accessories to squash any rebellion that may come her way.

Even More New Releases from Kidrobot

Kidrobot is going to town with all of these recent releases, so much so that I've collected the one's I've neglected thus far into one post to help you maximize your toy buying abilities.  Prepare to be overwhelmed with things you need.

Let me tell you something.  Doesn't it sound real serious when I start a paragraph off with that?  Like I'm on the verge of snapping while interrogating you for a crime you just won't confess to?  Well I've got a witness, bub, and I'm ready to make sure you go away for a looooooooooong time for buying that Insane Clown Posse cd.  Kidding, but seriously, just steal the thing next time so it doesn't end up on your credit card statement.  That will haunt you if you ever need to take out a loan.

What I was gonna tell you is that Amanda Visell's Ferals mini series is beyond adorable.  Not that you can't see that for yourself, but sometimes it's nice to have a bit of reinforcement when you're declaring things the cutest you've ever seen.  Utilizing the Munnyworld and Dunny platforms for her animal creations, these will make even the toughest grown man squee with delight.  They're sold blind boxed for $11.99 each but I dare you to be able to just buy one.  You can't.

I've coveted this Dunny from doubleparlour the moment I found out it was happening.  I snagged one this past weekend and completely love it.  It's really interesting to see their work transformed onto such a familiar platform and to have been done without relying on any sculpting.  Hopefully this will not be the last version of their work realized in graphic fashion, cause now I'm hooked.  These are available now for $14.99 each.

Halloween is coming and everyone would really appreciate it if you put more effort into your costume this year.  Stop going to that dumb store in the mall, buying what you think is "sexy" or even worse "funny sexy" and parading around like you're changing the game.  Instead of scarring your trick or treaters for life, why not get yourself one of these masks.  You can pick from the DIY ones you see above, designs from the new Dunny series from Brandt Peters, or Frank Kozik's uber popular Labbits.  Your friends will thank you.  Available now for $19.99 each.

Seen at NYCC: Bigshot Toyworks

This is wasn't the first year that Bigshot Toyworks was at New York Comic Con, but it is the first time that they were not only selling their wares, but had an exclusive available.   The Hellfire Lil Maddie looked amazing in clear red and in a smaller size that the original 6 inch figure.  Their booth was filled with items from the Four Horsies of the Pocalypse line, but it was one particular prototype I was the most excited to see, as it was the first time it had been displayed in public.

You used to have a lot of options if you were a Dalek fan and wanted to collect his figures, but it's been a number of years since anything has been released.  Well that's all about to change, as you can see from this Space Monkey prototype.  No word on a release date, but being there's an actual three dimensional representation of it, I'd have to assume we'll be seeing it sooner than later.

Red October DC13 Astronauts Battle Set from Mutant Vinyl Hardcore

Ok, this one is a gimme so I'm gonna do it:  "You could say your hunt for Red October has come to an end."

"That's not funny."

Suck it, Connery.  Your Scottish accent and ability to woe the entire female population of the world have no power here.   I'll make all the cheesy jokes I want, because I am a megalomaniacal dictator of this little piece of the internet and I intend to weird an iron fist when it comes to comedic content.  Shall we move on?

Right this moment, even as you read this, there is a new lottery going on from Mutant Vinyl Hardcore for this super sick Red October DC13 Astronauts Battle Set.  You get two 10 inch tall figures with 9 points of articulation each.  That's way more articulation than you can probably handle, so try not to get overwhelmed.  But wait, that's not all cause you also get a set of wearable dog tags, a sticker, and a huge sew on patch so you can really immerse yourself in a space robot war fantasy.

As I stated before this lottery is happening now and will close just before midnight eastern time tonight.  Winners will be notified tomorrow.  Get on it at www.mutantvinylhardcore.com

Seen at NYCC: KaijuMonster

One of the things I enjoy most about New York Comic Con is seeing things in person that I normally only see pictures of online.  Certain toys can't be done justice unless your eye balls can gaze upon them in real life, and every year  KaijuMonster melts my retinas with some of the most killer toys from around the world.

It was great catching up with Guumon, who has made the jump into full-time toy making and is working on tons of stuff that sounded very exciting.  Dude is living his dream and you can't help but be inspired by that.

The resin work of DT Custom and Flawtoys were some of the best figures I saw all weekend.  Each toy looked like glass rather than any type of plastic, and I am truly a sucker for the double casting technique when it's pulled off so flawlessly.  Really impressive stuff.  If you want to see more pictures from the convention you can check out www.facebook.com/TheToyViking.
