Yo Gabba Gabba Pop! Vinyl from Funko

When I was younger we had our share of weird children's programming that was meant to keep us busy while our parents went to work, or to the bar. I was babysat by a host of characters including Scooby Doo, Mr. Rogers, and The Dukes of Hazard (that wasn't a kids show?). Now those little rug rats have Yo Gabba Gabba to keep them busy with a menagerie of colorful characters and killer songs. Funko now let's you bring the whole cast home as part of their POP! Vinyl toys series. They're coming out in May and are ultra affordable so you won't feel too bad about buying them all. Plus it we support this show hopefully they'll never bring the Teletubbies back. Those things freak me out.

New Gumdrops from 64 Colors

What's this? It looks like a tub full of goodness from the design duo 64 Colors. There are a ton of different colors of their Gumdrop character, which are just down right cute. What's great about these is that they're not blind boxed, so you can get the whole set with little difficulty. And who wouldn't want one of each? These are produced by Squibbles Ink and Rotofugi and will be available March 23rd for only $5.95 each.  Check out this picture of all 12 different versions.

Custom Toy of the Week: Josh Mayhem

Ummmmm the word WOW comes to mind.  Check out this toy called "Buggs The Toxic Bunny" from customizer Josh Mayhem.  He is part of a larger group of figures known as The Askew Rangers, who are a collective of heavily armed forest critters (there's a group shot down a bit further).  This and others from the series are available now via Tenacious Toys at pretty reasonable prices considering the amount of work that is involved with each one.  If you like what you see and want to commission something or just browse his other work, check Mr. Mayhem out in the following spots:

The Amazing Spider Man Minimates

Ok, I have definitely been caught up in all the excitement for the new Batman and Avengers movies this summer and forgot all about Spider-Man. Well now I'm making it up to him by showing you this new line of Minimates inspired by the film. The top picture shows the assortment that will be available at ToysRUs and the bottom picture is of the figures you can get at comic book and specialty shops. Like the movie, they will be available this summer.

More Kuso Vinyl Exclusives at Wondercon

So Wondercon is this week in Anaheim, California and if you're like me, you can't go. But we can still drool over all the awesome toys that will be available and prepare ourselves to pay tons of money on eBay for those we can't live without. Kuso Vinyl has some cool releases this year including The Forest Warlord from Bigfoot. The gigantic figure will be on display but unfortunately will not be for sale just yet. But fear not, you can always pick this next guy up to help you get over your disappointment.

Check out this Dragon King figure from artist kaNO. For $65 you can get this Bruce Lee-esque toy that is limited to 250 pieces and the artist himself will be available to sign them for you.

I'm sorry I don't have anything funnier to say about this. I'm kinda tired and watching episodes of The Bad Girls Club that I've missed. If I was president I would mandate girl fights on television every night. Vote for me in 2012.

New Exclusive Mork Figures from Pobber Toys

Check out these two new exclusive Mork figures from MAD and Pobber Toys. The white one above is an exclusive for DeKorner and will make it's debut at Wondercon later this week. Only 50 of them exist in the whole world and they are $85 each.

The second, more evilier of the two is an exclusive for Art Attack Toys. I like the black on black flame details of this one a lot, as it gives it a subtle touch of personality. Yet again, there will only be 50 but he's a little cheaper at $79.95. You can add him to your already stuffed entertainment center on April 1st.

Scott Tolleson Cavey for Wondercon

Check this little bro out.  His name is Tolly and he is the brain child of Scott Tolleson and designer A Little Stranger.  He is one of the many adorable Cavey plush toys that have been available for some time now.  This guy will be available at Wondercon this week, but for those not attending you can also order yours from the Hey Cavey website on March 19th at 8pm London time (that sounds so much fancier than "eastern" or "pacific").  Each one of these little critters is hand made and comes with plenty of extras to sweeten the deal.
