Fortune Teller CNY Edition from Paul Shih

Putting faces on delicious snack food would probably be a great campaign to get people to eat better.  You could put all sorts of food critters in one of those ASPCA commercials with the sad music and everyone would be too heartbroken to ever eat cupcakes again because their pathetic little expressions are forever burned into your brain.  Not that it would stop me, because I love cookies too much to let their crying eyes put me off of desert.  I'm getting hungry thinking about it.

Paul Shih is getting back in the toy game with these adorable Fortune Teller cookie dudes.  These are painted up to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year and wil be available Wednesday, January 25th at 2pm pacific time.  They are limited to only five pieces and priced at $45 each plus shipping.

Fortune Teller from Paul Shih Releases Today!!!

Paul Shih is the master at taking food stuffs and making cute little figures out of them.  He's already conquered sushi and broccoli and now he has turned his attention to fortune cookies.  Check this little dude out.  He's all chillin with his little mustache, thinking about the fortune that he has inside him just for you.  No, he really does have a fortune inside him, I'm not even making that up.  Only 20 of this all-knowing little cookie were made and they go on sale today (September 30th) at 1pm Pacific time for $45 each.

BEVIL Aqua Edition and Sushi Kaiju Sakura Flavored from Paul Shih

Vegetable are the devil's work.  Sure, they make up a huge portion of that huge pyramid, but you know who created that?  The government.  You know what else the government created?  Taxes and speeding tickets.  So naturally I distrust the pro-vegetable agenda.  And now that I've seen this broccoli with his fangs a horns, I know that I've been right all along.

Paul Shih is the creator of both BEVIL and Sushi Kaiju.  He obviously has a thing for anthropomorphizing the things he eats, which is cool.  Most of what I eat tends to come alive after I've made futile attempts to digest it and it then wages a holy war on my guts.  That's another story for another day, hopefully involving Oprah Winfrey and some inspirational music.  Then I cash in.

Both of these resin food dudes will be available this Friday (May 17th) at 1pm Pacific time from http://paulshih.storenvy.com/.  They're limited to 10 pieces each.
