Seen at NYCC: Lulubell Toys x Cherry Vinyl

Lulubell Toys and Cherry Vinyl teamed up for New York Comic Con and featured a table filled with releases. Seriously, every time I walked by there were more and more toys. One would sell and then twenty other things would suddenly come out of nowhere. Cherry Vinyl stole the show with actual items for sale that they've been teasing us with all summer. Tara Mcpherson's George The Vampire sold out quickly and Femke's NYCC exclusive Le Chat is not far behind with the few remaining pieces available on the Lulubell website. Here are a few pictures from their booth, with the rest being housed on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/TheToyViking.

New Kaiju From Max Toy Company

And I thought my cats tore my house up. This sucker looks like he's ready to wreck an entire city and then take a nap on top of the destruction. Created by Konatsu and Max Toy, this scary feline is named Negora. Standing at 3 an 1/2 inches tall he is completely hand painted and even brings his own dinner with him. He's $40 and will be available this Friday. I love this kitty!!

If Friday is too far away, or you're allergic to cats, you can always pick this guy up. Mount Kobo and Max Toy present Drazorus. He's 4 and 1/2 inches tall of mean lizard and will also run you $40 to add to your collection. Check out www.maxtoyco.com to get your hands on these awesome releases.

Seen at NYCC: Frombie and Ohiya

One of the best things about going to comic cons are discovering things that you hadn't previously known about. Check out these vinyl toys from Frombies. The girl's name is Zora, and the little flying squirrel is named SkiddlyBoop. The Zora figure comes blank and is ready to customize while the squirrel comes in both green and orange. Everything was really reasonable as far as price goes and there is a story line that ties all of the characters together.

Another new company we were able to stumble upon was Ohiya. They had great assortment of tee shirts available for sale and some pretty cool custom toys and plush on display. They're working on getting things manufactured as we speak, so expect to see lots of product from these guys in the near future.

Super7 Trio of Terror This Friday

Super7 will be unleashing the final two pieces of their "Trio of Terror" this Friday. The orange Rose Vampire made his debut at New York Comic Con and those lucky enough to pick one up will now be able to add the Zombie Fighter and Pumpkin Boy pieces to their collection. Didn't go to the con? Don't worry, cause I just checked and the Rose Vampire figure is back in stock on their website. So buy all three for yourself or your favorite toy blogger.

Seen at NYCC: The Sucklord

Is the Sucklord too famous to meet his fans now that he's a major tv star? Probably, but that didn't stop him from making an appearance at The Art Hustle/Sidekick Labs Booth to sell his wares. The biggest personality in the designer toy world drew a huge crowd and even asked them how much they were willing to pay for his new He-Man figure mash up, Suckator (they went for $150 each).

I picked up one of his famous Gay Empire figures before they could all be spoken for by the crowd. This is the newest edition of his most popular figure that has long since sold out.

Seen at NYCC: DC Direct

DC Comics and their merch brand DC Direct had a huge display at New York Comic Con. My biggest interest where the new Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City figures. They had the roid raging Joker and the new Killer Croc figures on display from the first game that are slated to come out next year and these guys are massive. The Arkham City figures were very impressive too, with the addition of Catwoman, The Penguin, and Mr. Freeze. Plus there is an updated look for Harley Quinn in this game.

They also had on display their Anime inspired line of female characters and artist renditions of the classic Spy Vs. Spy comic from Mad Magazine. Check out our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/TheToyViking for more pics.

Seen: Super 7 at NYCC

Super 7 made the trip all the way from San Francisco for New York Comic Con and brought tons of new toys with them. I snagged a Pocket Mummy Boy and a Pocket Invisiboy to add to my small collection of their wares. I've been coveting them for a long time and it was nice to finally get them. Check out some of the pictures we took and try not to drool all over your keyboard. It's already too late for me.
