Super7 Exclusives for San Diego Comic Con

Just about every post I've done recently has been about San Diego Comic Con, which kinda depresses me since I'm not going.  I see all this amazing stuff I want that I'll never be able to get, and that makes me angry, and then I wanna go and punch my stupid neighbor in the face for always stealing that unmarked parking spot in front of my house.  If you could see them you would know that they need the exercise, so why can't they park farther away and get some walking in?

To keep the level of torment at an all time high, Super7 have just released their offerings for this years show.  Here's a rundown of their wares:

Gary Ham Wooper Looper at San Diego Comic Con

Ok, so color me uninformed but I had no idea that a Wooper Looper was a real life salamander critter. Not too long ago the wife and I went to the Central Park Zoo and we saw a butt ton of birds we had never heard of and a few other things, like the Rhinoceros Rat Snake and the Tentacle Snake. Never seen them before nor even heard of them. The animal kingdom refuses to let me know it all and that drives me nuts.

This Wooper Looper is a sofubi toy created by Gary Ham and will be making its debut at San Diego Comic Con. He will be available to take home at Gary's booth #4836.

New Star Wars Mimobots from Mimoco

Oh snap, it's more Star Wars stuff for me to buy. Not that I've ever been worried that one day they'll just stop making merchandise featuring the greatest thing in my childhood, but it makes me happy when it's something I actually want and not shampoo or paper plates. Though I do have an original R2-D2 birthday candle, but that was a bargain and too cool to pass up.

Mimoco has just released their newest series of neat-o Star Wars Mimobot flash drives. See, the great thing about these, as apposed to say the aforementioned candle, is that you can collect these AND use them for their intended purpose. Once you light something on fire it's pretty much the last bit of fun you'll have with it and no one saves balls of melted wax because they used to look cool. Well, maybe hoarders do.

The Biker Scout is an exclusive for San Diego Comic Con, but thankfully my two favorites can be bought at any time. Old Admiral "It's a Trap" Akbar and Princess Leia in her metallic beach gear are must haves so I can save all my blog posts on them and show my kids how cool I used to be. Or I'll just fill them with funny cat pictures from the Internet. That's probably a better idea.

Peter Kato x Giant Robot San Diego Comic Con Exclusives

My friend Peter Kato and I are stuck in the same boat, and that boat is not making its way to San Diego Comic Con. But that doesn't mean he won't be well represented, because he is sending a ton of new stuff that will be available at the Giant Robot booth #1729. Check out those sea foam green Turtle Tetsujin figures. Each one has the Giant Robot logo on the chest and there will only be 20 of them available for $20 per figure.

Peter will also have Tasty Rainbow editions of his other figures available for purchase. Each one will be $10 and bagged with a header card.

Danny Chan x Toy2r Killer Cat Mini Qee for Taipei Toy Festival

OOoooooooh I like this.  I have the little 2 and 1/2 inch version of this guy from waaaaaaay back and would loooooove to add this to my collection.  This is Danny Chan's Killer Cat Mini Qee from Toy2r and I need one.  The main problem I have is that there is only 100 of these out there and they are going to be released this week at the Taipei Toy Festival in Taiwan.  I'm no geographical scholar, but I'm pretty sure it's not just off the New Jersey Turnpike.  That, my friends, is what eBay is for.

New Girls of Batman Statues from DC Collectibles

October is the best time of year for me.  I get to go to New York Comic Con and ruin any chances I'll ever have of saving my money.  The weather gets cooler, which seems to make people a bit nicer because let's face it, we're all a bit cranky when we're hot.  And now I can look forward to two new releases featuring a couple of the girls from Batman courtesy of DC Collectibles.

Harley Quinn gets the anime treatment once again in this new Ame-Comi figure.  I wasn't sure how I felt about this one at first because they really changed up he look for this figure.  But the more I look at it, the more I can appreciate what they did.  She looks like the sadistic first act of some crazed Japanese circus where very bad things will happen to you.  I'm kinda ok with that.  She'll be available October 17th for $69.95

Last but not least we have everyone's favorite cat burglar...Cat Woman!!!!  She is decked out in her costume from the New 52 series and stands nearly 11 inches tall.  This statue can be yours on October 24th for $99.95

CrappyCat x Kuso Vinyl SDCC Exclusive

"You got something to say? Yeah, you thought you had something to say till you saw the size of my peace maker".

Nothing makes me happier that the thought of a cat with a bad attitude and and the weaponry to match. "Seafood Delight again for dinner? I think I'll be having some of your pot roast actually". This is the Driver Red edition of Van Beater's popular CrappyCat. He is limited to only 200 pieces and is an exclusive for Kuso Vinyl at San Diego Comic Con. And he only costs $10, which is probably what a soda at the convention goes for. Plus you can meet Van Beater and have him sign your butt. Ok, you probably shouldn't ask for that cause it may get you tossed out.
