ARThropod Brain by Tokyoplastic and Emilio Garcia at Toy Art Gallery

Emilio Garcia is obsessed with the human brain.  First he added frog's legs to one and created the Jumping Brain.  Then he made a skull out of a brain.  Now, he is making bugs out of brains.  While that may be an over simplified description of his work, it does give you an idea of what will be on display at his new art show.

Opening tomorrow at Toy Art Gallery in Los Angeles, ARThropod Brain will feature tons of 2D and 3D representations of his love for the organ of thought.  Good thing he wasn't a hug fan of the liver, because that just wouldn't translate well.

To commemorate the opening of the show, Outsmart Originals have created this Skull Brain t-shirt.  They will be making their debut at the gallery and hopefully be offered for sale afterwards to those of us that cannot attend.

Super Series Sunday Release from Taskone and Tenacious Toys

I can't even draw a stick figure that would be considered nice, so when I see someone sculpting figures that look this amazing I am truly impressed.  And a bit jealous that my artistic abilities are limited to being able to write my own name.

Taskone is the newest artists to be featured in Tenacious Toys ongoing Super Series Sunday releases with these insane Muppet figures.  Each one is hand painted and will be released blind boxed in waves of three.  You can buy one random figure for $40 or get yourself all three of them for $100.  If you're bold and daring you can purchase an entire set of 18 figures plus an extra special chase figure for $600. The first 3 of the series will be available this Sunday, March 10th at 4pm Eastern time.  Subsequent releases will happen on March 24th, April 7th, April 21st, May 5th, and May 19th.

Android Lucky Cat Series from Shane Jessup

We all could use a little more luck in our life.  Maybe you need some extra help getting rid of that mysterious rash that popped up seemingly out of nowhere.  Maybe you need to win the lottery and pay off that scary Italian guy before he can fit you for concrete boots and introduce you to the bottom of the local fishing hole.  There are always a plethora of reasons we need lady luck on our side, so having a box full of these guys scattered around the house couldn't hurt.

These Lucky Cat Android figures were designed by Shane Jessup and come packaged in nice little window boxes so you don't have to buy 30 of them to get the ones you really want.  Everybody that sells cool toys is now taking orders for these kitties and they will ship out in a few weeks.  So hopefully that rash doesn't spread and that lasagna you made for Vinny Knuckles will appease him long enough for you to have these delivered and their magic powers to kick in.

Lulubell Toy Bodega Exclusive Bones Figures from Mike Egan

Death has never looked so festive!  Lulubell Toy Bodega is offering these two exclusive colorways of Mike Egan's Bones figure for preorder starting tomorrow.  Each one is $60 and they will only be available for a 48 hour period.  They will then make however many are ordered, so you are guaranteed to get one as long as you stop your procrastinating and get your cash money ready.  These dudes are made of soft vinyl and stand about 8 inches tall.  Check out http://www.lulubelltoys.com/ at noon Pacific time tomorrow to reserve yours.

New Resin Heathrows from Frank Kozik Release Today!

I guarantee you it will take me longer to write this than these guys will be on sale.  You have to be an internet sniper if you want to buy anything that Frank Kozik puts up for sale.  You have to take the day off from work, eat a lunch loaded with both protein and carbs, and have the nimble fingers of a juvenile factory worker when it comes to typing your credit card number.  I would start training now.

The brand new resin Heathrows you see go on sale today at noon Pacific time only at www.frankkozik.net.  Both are limited to 13 pieces each and come with mind blowing swirly action.  Seriously, I have one of the past editions of these guys and I stared at it like I had been huffing paint fumes my whole life.  The Redrum Edition complete with axe and bad attitude will be $120 while the Blueberry Swirl Edition is an even $100.  Each one is hand made by the man himself and comes bagged with a signed and numbered header card.

Luftkaiser Painted Yellow Edition from Paul Kaiju x Toy Art Gallery

I love this guy.  In a strictly platonic way mind you, but it's still love none the less.  This is the first time one of Paul Kaiju's Luftkaiser figures has been painted and you can get one of them today!  For a mere $60 you can have this 4 inch tall evil German bat looking dude delivered to your door.  He goes on sale at noon Pacific time today at shop.toyartgallery.com.

Bad Apple White Exclusive from Mighty Jaxx and Cardboard Spaceship

This is by far my favorite version of this figure.  There's just something about it being all white with that bright red hand grenade that really makes this piece pop for me.  Mighty Jaxx created the "Bad Apple" figure in collaboration with Goin and this version will be exclusively available through Cardboard Spaceship. Only 50 of them were made and they're gonna run you about $100.  They will be for sale on March 11th, so if your stuck at work grab your smart phone and take a break on the john long enough to get one.  Not that I've done that before.  A lot.
