Tenacious Toys Exclusives for Five Points Festival

Five Points Festival is this weekend which means it's time to forget any sort of budgeting I've been doing and spend some cash like there's an asteroid headed towards Earth.  They say you can't take your stuff with you when you die, but you could glue it all together beforehand and make a pretty banging tomb that celebrates your love for inanimate objects.  Tenacious Toys will be there to help you decorate your inner chambers in high fashion with all of their convention exclusive releases, such as the Resin is King series 4 blind boxes.  At $30 a pieces. each blind box will contain a resin figure from one of the following artists: Renone, TobyArt, UME Toys, Forces of Dorkness, Eyehart Toys, Pickman's Vinyls, Leecifer , One-Eyed Girl , Kyle Kirwan, Dollar Slice Bootlegs, and Abe Lincoln Jr (with sculpting by NEMO and casting by Jacob JAMS).   There will be tons of different paint schemes and even golden tickets hidden throughout that are redeemable for awesome things.

You'd probably think that would be all, but you'd be so wrong that you're parents now feel ashamed of you.  Now check out this list of other items Tenacious Toys will have available just for you:

Forces of Dorkness (Nature Warriors 6in OOAK resin figure series)
Nerviswrek (Inner Child Greyscale handpainted customs)
Rampage Toys (Cyclops Dinos Painted sofubi sets of 3)
Taylored Curiosities (Huoli Guadians resin figure sets)
Dollar Slice Bootlegs (Blue Chrome Slaughterbots)

Halloween Honoo Cutie DX from Leecifer

I have some advice from my youth for all you pyromaniacs out there:  don't stand too close to an open flame when you've just discovered grunge and insist on only wearing jeans that you strategically ripped.  See, cotton burns quick, and no matter how awesome those frayed knee holes are, you don't look like Eddie Vedder when you have to tear them from your body to prevent a stay in the burn ward.  And surprisingly, your teenage crush won't be sympathetic as you dance around in your tighty whiteys trying to stomp out the flames.  I've said too much.

Honoo would never do you dirty like that though, cause while he may be his own disco inferno, he's always got your back.  This happy resin campfire from Leecifer is available right now in  limited edition of 10 pieces by visiting http://www.leecifer.com.  Add some heat to your toy shelf without the risk of a four alarm disaster.

NYCC Exclusives from Super7

Ooooooh New York Comic Con is just a few days away and I've moved some money here, ignored some bills there, and I'm ready to come home with a ton of new stuff.  Some of that stuff will hopefully be from Super7.  Take a look at what they will have and see if you can guess what I want.  (Here's a hint:  it's the Micro Mummy Boy and Rose Vampire).  All of these and more will be available at booth #126.

It's a New Week So That Means New Toys from Super7

Super7 is way more reliable with their toy releases than my wife's car is with functioning like a feasible mode of transportation.  Damn thing broke down and cost more than I want to relive right now.  I am currently accepting paid appointments to come over and have my cats scratch and bloodlet you for health.  The safe word is "bananas".

Two new releases are going down on Thursday, March 31st in the form of Leecifer's Honoo in clear vinyl and the very cute yet more than slightly creepy Drunk Seijin.  Each on will be $35 when they go on sale starting at noon pacific time from www.super7store.com and their retail locations.

Suburban Vinyl Exclusives for New York Comic Con

Man it's getting down to the wire for New York Comic Con and I'm here scrambling to tell you about everything you're gonna want to track down the minute the doors open.  I won't be able to make it up there until Saturday, so I hope I'm not the last vulture to the corpse and all that's left are the toe nails.  That was a really disgusting analogy and hopefully you weren't eating when you read it.

SubUrban Vinyl will be holding down their usual spot at the giant Tenacious Toys compound, which is also known as booth 208.  Take a look see at a few of their exclusive items they'll have available for your toy shopping needs:

Skinner x Leecifer Hand Painted Picklebabies Dropping Today

I have a lot of things that I suspect may be haunted in my house.  It's bound to happen when you are drawn to coolecting weird stuff that may or may not have once been housed in a now dead human being.  You think I don't have a jar of my wife's great grandmother's gallstones, just chilling in the living room?  Or an antique glass eye that may or may not have been willingly given up by its long dead German owner?  I like my knick knacks like I like my women; riddled with a sketchy past (Sharon's gonna hit me for that one).  Now I'm not crazy mind you and if I think something might be housing some poltergeist with a crappy attitude I can easily walk away.  Unless it has a really sick patina, cause God knows I love a patina.

I'm convinced Skinner is only interested in painting haunted toys and now I have photographic evidence to prove it:

How is this little antique person holding a Picklebaby that was created even before Leecifer, the father of all Picklebabies was born?  What madness has conceived the creation before the creator?  What messed up relative bought this girl such a bizarre looking doll baby for Christmas?  Those answers may lie deep in a New England grave, but on this very day you can become the newest caretaker of the Picklebaby, guarding its secrets and succumbing to its most vile demands.

There are 8 of these available beginning at noon pacific time only from http://shopcriticalhit.com.  They are $100 each in human money (no eternal souls will be accepted as payment at this time - Management)

"Little Green Men" Custom PickleBaby show at Suburban Vinyl Tomorrow

Ever since I saw Leecifer's PickleBaby figure I've been hoping someone would put that little sucker in a jar and make a pickled baby custom.  Those things always freak me out whenever we visit the Mutter Museum and I think that particular custom figure has been begging to be made for years.  Well hold onto your britches because I have it on good authority that it has happened and will be on display at Suburban Vinyl's "Little Green Men" custom show tomorrow.  And by good authority I mean this picture right here from artist Mikie Graham:

Here are a few more of the customs you can see when the show opens tomorrow night:

To see more you have to go to the show, ya lazy bums.

Halloween Pickle Baby from Leecifer Drops Today!

I wonder if anyone has ever put one of Leecifer's Pickle Babies in a jar, filled it with some cloudy water, and called it a PICKLED Baby.  It would be the easiest custom in the world and if it hasn't been done yet I urge someone out there to do it.  And make an aged label identifying it to paste on the front too.  I don't want you to take my idea and just phone it in, cause that's just disrespectful.  Make it museum quality.  The challenge is out there.

Look at how festive these dudes are!  I bet they've already been to Starbucks twice and gotten something pumpkin flavored.  I think marbled toys are some of my favorites out there right now, and I'm loving how this orange and black has swirled together to make each one of these unique.  If you want one to spice up your Halloween decor (or Thanksgiving, this guy would look perfect next to a turkey-shaped butter sculpture) then pick one up from http://houseofleecifer.bigcartel.com/ today.
